Man, this SGM fucking r0x0rs. I can't believe how rewarding it is to go back to again and again.
Currently preparing tracks to play on the radio tomorrow [www.progweed.net - radio link for more info]. Gonna bust up a bunch of recent American bands that are not all that prog, but kick much ass. This show should be awesome, with me, Greg and the BIO. Maybe we can even do an improv :)
Just got added to Gnosis tonight. www.gnosis2000.net, the biggest experimental and related music databases on the net. My grades should start appearing tomorrow, which will kick ass. I'm l33t.

I hate Thanksgiving. Mainly because dealing with my family is a chore, and it's always near my birthday. I dislike too much attention paid to me.
Anyway, I'm currently working on a new design for the ProgDay website (currently at www.progday.com). I didn't make that last one... it's quite lame. If you're wondering wtf ProgDay is, it's a Progressive Music festival held on labour day weekend in Chapel Hill NC. Yes, it's more than one day... Last year was awesome, and we're working twoards making this year even better.
This Wyatt album is interesting... His first after leaving Soft Machine following Fourth, this is more of a free-jazz work than his later, and incredible song based albums. Robert was quite the innovator, and shows it all over the place here. Using multiple vocal overdubs, many of the sounds are just his voice, whether run through effects or just making percussion noises.

This is my first post, more of a test than anything...
Expect rantings on music and life in general in the future.
